Angela Bassett and Courtney B. Vance were spotted letting loose on the dance floor this weekend in Paris.

The actors accompanied their 19-year-old daughter, Bronwyn Golden, at the luxurious, annual Le Bal des Débutantes on Saturday, Nov. 29, at the Hotel Shangri-La. In a TikTok shared after the ultra-exclusive event, the actors can be seen grooving together in their best black-tie attire, surrounded by other party attendees.

Bassett, 67, looked elegant in a floor-length, sparkling silver strapless dress, while her husband Vance, 67, rocked a white bow-tie. The proud dad matched his son, Bronwyn’s twin brother Slater Josiah, who joined his sister at the ball.

Meanwhile, Bronwyn herself wowed in a bespoke gown she worked with haute couture designer Stephane Rolland to create. The Harvard student’s tulle ensemble glittered with gold detailing, as seen in photos and videos shared across social media platforms.

Speaking to Vogue, Bronwyn discussed what it meant to her to attend Ophélie Renouard’s famed fête.

“I think Le Bal is about being in a space with successful women who are around my age from all over the world,” she said before the party. “It’s very rare that you can share such a beautiful night with accomplished young girls who are slowly reaching adulthood.”

Bronwyn also relished the opportunity to “cherish friendships with women who have similar aspirations in life,” she told the outlet. “But yet we are all so different, so it’s a chance to blossom and meet a lot of new people, which I feel like a lot of people don’t get to do.”

Originally launched in 1958 and then revived by Renouard in 1992, the debutant ball has hosted the kids of some of the world’s most notable families. Royals — of both the monarchy and Hollywood varieties — have historically made their society debut at the event, which has been called the “Met Gala for Teenagers.”

This year, attendees included Winston Churchill’s descendant Lady Araminta Spencer-Churchill, Carolina Herrera’s granddaughter Carolina Lansing and American debutant Ruby Kemper, whose late grandfather Kirk Kerkorian owned MGM Studios.

Le Bal 2024 was similarly star-studded, with Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin’s daughter Apple Martin as one of the high-profile guests. Apple, 21, made a particularly noteworthy debut last November thanks to a viral video of her and another young Le Bal attendee, Aliénor Loppin de Montmort.

The TikTok clip saw Loppin de Montmort posing for her photo before Apple jokingly stepped in and confidently posed for the various cameras. Social media users were quick to criticize the Goop founder’s daughter for what they deemed “mean girl” behavior. However, Loppin de Montmort disputed any such claims shortly after the event.

“[Apple’s] genuinely the nicest girl ever! She really doesn’t deserve an ounce of what she’s getting,” Loppin de Montmort said exclusively to PEOPLE at the time. “She was the nicest girl ever towards not only me but all the debs!”
