West Wilson is playing the mediator in Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula’s relationship issues.
In the March 31 episode of Summer House, tensions were high after Kyle's drunken outburst in which he insulted his then-wife, Amanda.
During the confrontation which took place in the previous episode, Kyle yelled, “f— you,” to Amanda, 34, and called her a "f—ing dumbass bitch" after a night of drinking. When neither addressed the incident the next day as they kicked off Kyle’s 43rd birthday party, West took matters into his own hands.
“Do you remember last night in any capacity?” West, 28, asked Kyle, who admitted he did but said he was “trying to compartmentalize.”
“If I’m going to be honest, I don't know what triggered me,” Kyle continued. “There's so much that's built up.”
“I know that there's a lot of layers and depth to your relationship,” West said. “But this was the only time where I thought objectively, you like we're being unnecessary, because nothing happened. That was just black and white, not the right thing. But that cannot be the correct way for you to get s— off your chest, and that was bad.”

Kyle explained that his frustration stemmed from Amanda spending more time with the friend group than him, which made him feel like she wasn’t invested in their relationship. Still, he told West he was “sorry you guys had to be subjected to that.”
“If I can be honest, I'm basically falling apart,” Kyle added, to which West interjected, “Tell her that, though, for starters. Say, ‘I'm sorry, I didn't mean it. I should not talk to you like that.’”
Teary-eyed, Kyle claimed that those around him and Amanda “have no f—ing idea” what they are going through behind closed doors.
Meanwhile, Ciara Miller, Lindsay Hubbard and Mia Calabrese brought up Kyle’s financial troubles with his company Loverboy — including recent revelations that he owed millions of dollars in loans and only had enough money for three months of payroll for employees. Amanda shared that she wasn’t aware of the loans Kyle took out until after it happened, further confirming they do not have a prenup.
“Also, at the same time, that’s not related to how he's treating Amanda and the f— yous and the lashing out,” Ciara noted. “That's unacceptable and it's inexcusable.”
“Stop letting him do that to you,” Mia added. “You don't deserve it. You don't deserve someone being like, ‘f— you.’”
Back inside, West continued to push Kyle to treat Amanda better. “Talk to us, and we will talk to you. Just don't take it out on Amanda, and just say sorry for that, please.”

Later that night, Kyle apologized to Amanda, who questioned why it took so long for him to do so. They then decided to talk more in the morning, where Kyle confessed, “I really know what got into me,” when he started the argument.
“I needed time to figure out why I said that,” he continued. “I said what I said because I'm an asshole, but also, I don't feel like you want to be with me.”
Acknowledging that they are “in a weird place right now,” Amanda called Kyle out for talking negatively about her throughout the summer. “The way that you speak to me and the things that you say to me is the issue,” she said. “I just really feel disrespected constantly.”
When Kyle highlighted that “our relationship is in troubled water,” Amanda admitted she was reaching a breaking point after 10 years of ups and downs.
“I've literally stuck by your side through thick and thin, through all the rumors, through all the yelling, through all the name-calling, like, I've been here,” she said. “But I can't put up with it much longer. I don't want to continue to be treated this way, and I have a lot of patience for it because I know that you're under a lot of stress, you're under a lot of pressure. I know that sometimes it's not me that's making you feel that way.”
“But I also feel like there are times where I don't think you care,” Kyle replied. “How come we're not putting in the work? I guess that's what is confusing for me. Would you go into couples therapy?”
Amanda immediately agreed to try counseling, as Kyle emphasized the love they have for one another. “I need to feel like we're in a partnership and like that we are in it together,” he shared. “I just feel like constant s—.”
“Me too,” Amanda said.

Amanda and Kyle eventually announced their separation in January after four years of marriage.
On March 31, Batula and Wilson announced the shocking news via Instagram Stories that they are romantically involved.
"We've seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity. It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we need a little space to process things privately before speaking on it."
"We've shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what's developed recently was the last thing either of us expected," they continued. "Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care."
"As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling. We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless. We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this."
The news came after weeks of romance rumors. On Sunday, March 29, Southern Charm star Austen Kroll shared a photo from a dinner on Instagram with the caption: “Pasta and f— your friends exes are apparently so back,” which many fans interpreted as a possible nod to Batula and Wilson. The rumors had already been circulating earlier in the month when Deuxmoi reported that the pair were “openly flirty.”
Summer House airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo. Episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
