Ciara Wilson eviscerates West Wilson's beta blocker excuse for emotionless 'Summer House' reunion

Ciara Miller isn’t buying West Wilson’s excuse for being emotionless during the “Summer House” Season 10 reunion.

“Just a medical note: beta blockers DON’T remove emotion,” the registered nurse wrote via Threads Tuesday night after part three of the reunion aired on Bravo.

“They work by blocking adrenaline from binding to beta receptors in your heart, blood vessels, and muscles (the receptors responsible for the physical symptoms of anxiety like increased heart rate, raised blood pressure, and trembling),” she continued.

“The EMOTIONAL EXPERIENCE remains, but the physical stress response can’t fully activate. It’s like putting your “fight or flight” symptoms on DND…. enough with the beta blocker bulls—t.”

Many fans in the comments hyped Miller up for continuing to hold her ex accountable after he secretly struck up a relationship with her former bestie, Amanda Batula.

“It’s actually HILARIOUS that they thought that would work while in the presence of a NURSE 🤣” one wrote.

“Amanda and West are just both sociopaths who lack any remorse,” another added.

During the final part of the highly anticipated reunion, host Andy Cohen accused Wilson of being on “a bunch of beta blockers,” pointing out his calm reaction to his emotional castmates.

“No offense, are you on like, a bunch of beta blockers or what? I’m just curious what’s going on,” Cohen questioned.

The sports journalist explained that he was “trying to stay composed as much as possible” — as co-star Jesse Solomon also outright asked Wilson if he was on beta blockers.

“I took a beta blocker,” Wilson finally admitted. “No offense, but I’m not sobbing in this moment. This matters to me,” he added. “But this is my friend.”

Beta blockers are prescription medications that slow down the heart rate and lower blood pressure, according to the Mayo Clinic. They’re often used to prevent or treat conditions like irregular heartbeats, heart failure, chest pain and migraines.

Throughout the reunion, Wilson and Batula were heavily questioned for their secret relationship that they finally admitted to in March. Jocelyn Prescod/Bravo

Wilson, 31, seemingly took the medication knowing he and Batula, 34, would be in the hot seat for the reunion — which they were.

The couple tried to justify their relationship as their castmates poked holes in their relationship timeline and exposed many of their lies.

Although the group still seemed fractured as the reunion came to an end, Bravo teased a bonus episode, “Summer House: The Aftermath,” that shows cast members having more tough conversations in the weeks following.

“Summer House” is available to stream on Peacock.
