Channel 5 News star Dani Sinha was caught rolling her eyes after she suffered a series of blunders during her live broadcast about Bonnie Tyler’s death on Thursday.
The presenter, who has been working for Channel 5 for 11 years, broke the news that legendary singer Bonnie had died at the age of 75.
Dani went on to misname Bonnie’s hit song Total Eclipse Of The Heart, fluffing her lines and calling it ‘Total Of Eclipse’.
The broadcast then went to a brief clip of Bonnie performing in the music video for the 1983 song, but when they cut back to Dani in the studio she was seen looking frustrated and rolling her eyes – clearly unaware the camera was back on her.
The clip soon circulated on social media with viewers speculating that Dani had been ‘let down by the autocue or prompts in her ear’ and was ‘frustrated with technical errors.’
‘She’s reacting to shambolic tech support,’ agreed another.

‘The eye roll was 99.9% for her knowing she messed up the title of the song,’ decided another viewer.
Another asked: ‘Is she not rolling her eyes at the video where Bonnie is singing ‘now I’m only falling apart’ ….. which is not what you want to hear when announcing someone’s death.’
It was confirmed by Bonnie’s family on Thursday that the singer had died ‘unexpectedly’ at the age of 75, weeks after going into cardiac arrest following surgery.
A representative for Channel 5 News has been contacted by Daily Mail for comment.
The Welsh pop star, whose real name is Gaynor Hopkins, died just months after she was placed in an induced coma following emergency intestinal surgery.
Bonnie’s death was announced in a statement by her ‘heartbroken’ family and team on her website on Thursday, which said she died in hospital in Portugal.
The performer was best known for her hits Total Eclipse Of The Heart and Holding Out For A Hero, and she had planned a new European tour which had been due to start later this year.

The statement said: ‘Bonnie’s family and team are heartbroken to announce that Bonnie unexpectedly passed away last night in hospital in Portugal as a result of the illness that she was being treated for.’
Bonnie was first admitted to hospital in May because of complications caused by a burst appendix and perforated intestine that required urgent surgery.
