Sarah announced she was expecting in March during an emotional live segment on Today, revealing she and Cyrus had endured two heartbreaking miscarriages before falling pregnant with their son.

‘Cyrus and I are expecting a little baby,’ she said at the time.

‘I know it’s obviously very happy news, but it hasn’t been the easiest journey to get here, which I know a lot of our beautiful viewers out there have been through this and are feeling this right now, because it’s not as easy as some might think pregnancy is.

‘It’s been a bit of a bumpy ride, but here we are and it’s getting harder to hide.’

The journalist also admitted she approached the pregnancy with ‘cautious optimism’ after her previous losses.

By sharing her fertility struggles publicly, Sarah said she hoped to offer comfort and support to other women navigating similar experiences as she and Cyrus prepare to welcome their long-awaited baby boy.
