One more couple took things to the next level during their time on Love Island USA season 7.

On the July 13 finale episode, each couple had an opportunity to leave the villa to go on one-on-one dates with each other.

For one couple — day 1 Islander Huda Mustafa and Casa boy Chris Seeley — the date culminated in their split. For Nic Vansteenberghe and Olandria Carthen, they enjoyed a walk along the beach and cliffside views of the water, while Iris Kendall and Pepe Garcia-Gonzalez set sail on board a boat.

For another, though, they decided to seal the deal: Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales left their final date with the exclusive label on their relationship.

Over a glass of champagne in the jungle, Amaya and Bryan reflected on their unlikely journey to find each other.

The pair flipped through a scrapbook filled with childhood photos of themselves and their families before reflecting on their time spent together at the villa.

“Most of my best moments were with you,” Amaya, 25, told Bryan. “With you, I don’t ever cry out of sadness. Every time I feel a heightened emotion with you, it’s always just happy tears.”

“I’m really happy to go to bed, I’m happy to wake up to you,” she continued, before reflecting on where their romantic connection began: when Bryan defended her emotions after Austin, Ace and Zak put her on the spot.

“You make me happier. You don’t understand how much it meant to me, that moment, of you standing up for me during the Standing on Business [challenge],” she told him.

“If my light is too bright for somebody, wear sunglasses or something. That is not a ‘me’ problem,” Amaya, 25, continued. “But with you, you look right into the sun.”

After Amaya gushed about how Bryan, 28, made her feel during their time in Fiji, he spoke his mind, too, and took her by surprise.

Bryan revealed he wanted to take things to the next level with Amaya before they left the villa.

“I just wanted to talk to you and basically let you know how much I care about you and how much you mean to me,” he began. “I definitely wanted to leave here letting you know that I want to make stuff exclusive with us and prioritize us.”

Amaya was taken aback by Bryan’s confession as he continued, “I wanna continue taking the right steps with you and to enter the outside world with you.”

It was an easy “yes!” for her and they kissed, shared a toast with their champagne and slow danced in celebration.

After their date, Amaya and Bryan gathered with their fellow Islanders around the fire pit and told them about their evening together.

“We officially made it exclusive,” Bryan revealed, which was met with a round of applause.

In a confessional together, Amaya joked, “Somebody popped the question tonight.”

“I just wanted to get rid of that gray area,” Bryan said. “I definitely wanted to let her know and reassure her, I want to keep working on us and prioritizing us and take steps forward.”

The Love Island USA season 7 finale is now streaming on Peacock.
