When it comes to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s upcoming nuptials, New Zealand is ready for it.
“✍️ This is our official petition for Pop’s next Royal Wedding to be hosted right here in Aotearoa New Zealand,” the New Zealand tourism board wrote in a Friday, Aug. 29, Instagram caption. Aotearoa is the Māori word for New Zealand.
The caption continued, “We think the Swifties would agree, it’s the perfect backdrop for a star-studded ‘I do.’ Are you ready for it?”
The post featured stunning mountain views in Fiordland, a sprawling vineyard in Wānaka, a tree-lined chapel at Ohaupō TreeChurch, and the blue waters of Lake Erskine and Dublin Bay, including photos of real couples who chose the striking locations for their own weddings.
“A huge congratulations to @taylorswift @killatrav, catch the bouquet ‘💐’ in the comments to manifest your dream wedding down under,” the caption concluded.
Swift and Kelce, both 35, announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post on Tuesday, Aug. 26. “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨,” Swift wrote in the caption.

The post was set to the tune of “So High School,” a track long rumored to be about Kelce since its appearance on her 2024 The Tortured Poets Department.
Travis proposed with a ring he designed with Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry. The stone is an “Old Mine brilliant cut,” which the “Cruel Summer” singer shows off in a series of photos announcing the big news.
