Ciara brought her two eldest children to a recent fashion scholarship event!
The 40-year-old singer was accompanied by her husband Russell Wilson, 37, and their daughter Sienna Princess Wilson, 8. Ciara also brought her oldest son, Future Zahir Wilburn, 11, who she shares with her ex-fiancé Future.
Together, the family went to the Fashion Scholarship Fund’s 89th Annual Gala at The Glasshouse in New York City on Monday night (March 23).
For the event, the “Goodies” singer wore Willy Chavarria.
The gala honored industry leaders for their commitment to supporting the next generation of fashion talent, per WWD, including Law Roach, Ciara, Russell, and Stefan Larsson.
According to the outlet, the event “also awarded more than $1.9 million in scholarships to the Class of 2026 FSF Scholars and Virgil Abloh Post-Modern Scholars — in total 160 college students who have demonstrated their ability to disrupt and transform the fashion industry as creatives or as marketing and business professionals.”
Upon receiving her award, Ciara said, “Fashion is no joke. It shapes culture. It makes statements. It brings people together. Don’t be afraid of the hard moments along the way. Every challenge, every setback, every time you push through doubt…trust that those are just your beauty marks in the making. Keep dreaming big. Keep believing in your vision.”
Russell said, “Adversity is going to be part of the journey. Fear, doubt, setbacks…those things show up at every level. What has inspired us most tonight is seeing all of you bringing your ideas into this industry. Think about how your creativity can open doors for others and make an impact beyond yourself.”
Sienna and Future also joined them onstage!
