Paramount+ just dropped the brand new trailer for the upcoming Dexter: Resurrection!

Michael C Hall reprises his role as Dexter Morgan in the upcoming new series revival, which expands the growing Dexter universe, alongside the prequel series Dexter: Original Sin.

The trailer was unveiled on Saturday (May 31) at the CCXP Mexico City event, where Michael joined co-star David Zayas, showrunner Clyde Phillips and executive producer Scott Reynolds for a panel!

Here’s a synopsis: Dexter: Resurrection, a continuation of Dexter: New Blood, takes place weeks after Dexter Morgan (Hall) takes a bullet to the chest from his own son, as he awakens from a coma to find Harrison (Jack Alcott) gone without a trace. Realizing the weight of what he put his son through, Dexter sets out for New York City determined to find him and make things right. But, closure won’t come easy. When Miami Metro’s Angel Batista (Zayas) arrives with questions, Dexter realizes his past is catching up to him fast. As father and son navigate their own darkness in the city that never sleeps, they soon find themselves deeper than they ever imagined – and that the only way out is together.

Also set for the upcoming series are Uma Thurman, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Kadia Saraf, Dominic Fumusa, Emilia Suárez, James Remar and Peter Dinklage, plus Neil Patrick Harris, Krysten Ritter, Eric Stonestreet and David Dastmalchian will guest star.

Dexter: Resurrection is set to premiere with the first two episodes on Friday, July 11th on streaming and on demand for Paramount+ subscribers with the Paramount+ with Showtime plan. It will then premiere that Sunday, July 13th, at 8pm ET/PT on Showtime!
