Gwyneth Paltrow knows how to make an entrance, and this time she appeared to be in a hurry while arriving to the 46th Annual Women in Film and Television Muse Awards in New York City on Friday.
The 53-year-old Oscar winner glided ahead of her own husband Brad Falchuk, 55, after they were dropped off to the venue at Cipriani 42nd Street by a chauffeured SUV.
Paltrow, who shocked fans with her strapless and sideless Oscars gown, wowed in a conservative navy-blue ensemble featuring a brass-buttoned jacket and pleated skirt. She accessorized the look with a matching leather handbag and peep-toe mules.
Her light blonde hair was parted in the middle and styled straight with blunt ends just brushing past her shoulders.
Her American Horror Story producer spouse was clad in a complementary navy dress jacket, gray slacks and light blue shirt with dark blue tie.
Later on at the celebration, he kindly toted Paltrow’s handbag for her.
It turned out to be a family affair of which she was the leader.

‘Gwyneth Paltrow embodies the bold, multidimensional leadership we celebrate at the Muse Awards,’ NYWIFT CEO Cynthia Lopez said in a statement.
‘As an Academy Award–winning performer, she has delivered iconic work on screen, and as the founder and CEO of goop, she has redefined what it means for an artist to build and lead a global enterprise. Her career reflects vision, risk-taking, and cultural impact both in front of and behind the camera.
‘She joins an extraordinary class of honorees this year – trailblazers across film, television, journalism, sports, and advocacy – who together represent the power of women shaping the future of our industry,’ Lopez continued.
Later on at the gala, which was emceed by CBS Sunday Morning contributor Nancy Giles, Paltrow posed with the award in her hands.
Paltrow’s demure display at the Muse Awards comes after she experienced a wardrobe malfunction in her racy Oscars dress that nearly exposed her.
The entrepreneur joined other stars on what is considered Hollywood’s biggest night at the 98th Annual Academy Awards, and stood out in a very daring gown that featured dramatic side cutouts from top to bottom.

In a now-viral clip shared to X, Paltrow was seen hurriedly making her way through the Dolby Theatre where the ceremony took place.
While descending a few steps, she lifted the long hem of her gown so she wouldn’t trip and flashed skin – including some of her backside – due to the long slits on either side of her outfit.
However, Paltrow seemingly was unfazed by the wardrobe mishap as she was guided to another area inside the crowded venue.
Some fans jumped to the comment section of the reel to air their opinions, with one writing, ‘talk about a red carpet nightmare,’ and an X user questioninf, ‘Did her dress break?’ while third sympathized, ‘Things like that can happen to anyone, especially at big events like the Oscars.’
