Hulk Hogan’s loved ones dismissed health rumors just before his death

Hulk Hogan’s loved ones dismissed rumors that the former pro wrestler was on his deathbed just days before he died from a suspected cardiac arrest.

Hogan’s wife, Sky Daily, was forced to shut down speculations about her husband’s health on July 12 after he underwent neck surgery two months prior.

“No, he’s definitely not in a coma!” she told a social media user who asked her if the WWE star was “dying and in a coma,” per MSN.

“His heart is strong, and there was never any lack of oxygen or brain damage. None of those rumors are true.”

She then explained that Hogan — whose real name is Terry Bollea — was “recovering from a major four-level Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusin (ACDF), which is an intense surgery with a long and layered healing process.

“If you look it up, you’ll see what the last six weeks have involved… not just for his spine, but also for his vocal cords, and the eating/breathing tubes that are clamped over during surgery.”

She did confirm that they had “been in an [sic] out of the hospital to support that recovery,” but that “there’s no need for the drama or panic some people try to stir up.

“He’s healing and we’re taking it one day at a time with love, strength, and patience.”

At the time, a rep for Hogan also shut down the claims with TMZ.

“No, he’s definitely not in a coma!” she wrote, per MSN.  hulkhogan/Instagram

Hogan’s manager, Jimmy Hart, was also recently forced to deny any allegations that the wrestler was dying.

He took to his official X account on Tuesday to write, “Hulk is doing great, doing phenomenal! Last night at karaoke with Nick [Hogan] was absolutely fantastic, baby!!!”

The rumors first kicked off when Todd Alan Clem, a radio host and former friend Hogan, claimed the wrestler had suffered complications from his neck surgery. He also alleged that his family had been called in to say his goodbyes, claims he reiterated in a recent podcast episode.

Page Six has reached out to Daily, Clem Hart for comment, but did not immediately hear back.
