John Cena shut down viral TikTok star Harry Daniels who sang to the former pro wrestler in a very awkward moment.
The 48-year-old star – who has been cast in an upcoming Netflix project with Jennifer Garner – was spotted sitting inside a cafe when he was approached by Daniels in a video shared on Wednesday.
The media personality – who boasts 2.2 million followers on TikTok – is known for approaching celebrities in public and serenading them with songs, such as Jennifer Lopez, Austin Butler and Cyndi Lauper.
Daniels walked up to the Peacemaker actor and immediately began belting out lyrics to Taylor Swift’s track Invisible String without introducing himself first.
Only a few seconds in, Cena looked up from his phone and stood up without flashing a smile.
‘Let’s start with a hello. How are you doing? Nice to meet you, I’m John,’ the sports star said while reaching his arm out first to shake hands with Daniels.

After the TikToker told Cena his name, the retired wrestler questioned, ‘Would you like to sing now?’
Daniels replied with, ‘Yes,’ which prompted the star to follow up with, ‘And for what purpose?’
The media influencer explained, ‘Because I sing to everyone. It’s my job.’
Cena placed his hands in the pockets of his shorts as he listened but then said, ‘Well, I’m not buying what you’re selling. Thanks, though.’
‘Okay, thank you,’ Daniels said before turning and quickly walking away.
In text added over the reel, the TikTok star penned: ‘I saw john cena at a cafe and i tried singing for him but my approach was so bad that the whole thing went haywire.’
And in the caption, Daniels also added, ‘Ok this ones on me cuz i had no decorum my bad sorry john cena.’
