According to the outlet, Police are looking for a woman thought to be a witness in the case. They report that she met with Todd on the day of Bell’s disappearance, and is key to tracing the toddler’s movements.

“For now the investigation is still ongoing and for the safety of the public, for the administration of justice we object for now,” police stated after being asked about when Todd would be released from prison, as noted by the Gazette.

PEOPLE has contacted Sûreté du Québec for further comment, but did not immediately hear back.
