Paige DeSorbo is opening up more about her decision to leave Summer House.
The 32-year-old reality star announced back in June that she would not be returning for the Bravo show’s upcoming 10th season.
In a new interview, Paige further explained what went into her decision to exit after seven seasons.

“Honestly, I’d like to say that I made this decision over months and months of thinking, and that is partly true. I definitely felt different leaving last summer. There was something where I had this gut feeling where I was just like, ‘This is probably the last time I’ll ever leave this house,’” Paige said on the Bravo by Gays podcast. “The obviously, we went into the fall, we went into the [Giggly Squad] tour, so I wasn’t thinking anything Summer House. Then, obviously over the winter I had the most public breakup ever, so when it came time to start thinking about the summer, I really just had a moment where I was like, ‘Wait, I can’t go film a TV show. I’ll literally die.’”
“I felt like that last summer where I was like, ‘Wow, I’m really busy and I really can’t manage it all.’ But this past spring, I was like, I really need time off. I don’t physically think I could film Summer House,” she continued. “So, that’s when I really started thinking about it, talking about it with my family and friends, like, ‘What should I do?’ And then ultimately, which you would think Daphne was coming out, like I’d want to promote it on the show and that was always my plan, like come out with something and be able to promote it on the show. But just the way I felt personally, it overrode anything professionally with Daphne or Summer House. I was just like, I can’t do it.”
She also explained that she didn’t think it would truly be authentic if she did return because she’s worked so much and the going out and partying at the epicenter of the show is just not her vibe anymore.
On the possibility of her making a guest appearance, Paige essentially squashed any hope fans may have had.
“I just feel like, I said I wasn’t going back… If I wanted to go, I wouldn’t have ever said, ‘I’m quitting, I’m not coming back,’” she said. “I would have kept it like, ‘Oh well maybe I’ll be a friend of or maybe I’ll pop in,’ but I don’t want to give anyone false hope.”
“I most likely, I can say 99% sure I will not be at the house at all this summer or film anything,” she added.
This comes after Carl Radke recently said that Amanda Batula and Ciara Miller have been trying to get Paige to make an appearance.
