Sabrina Carpenter is having a fangirl moment over Dolly Parton!
On Tuesday, Feb. 18, Parton, 79, posted a cute video on TikTok of herself and Carpenter, 25, bonding on the set of their music video for their duet rendition of Carpenter’s track “Please Please Please.”
“Two blondes are one thing, a collab with @Sabrina Carpenter is another 💋,” Parton wrote in the caption. “Behind the scenes of ‘Please Please Please,’ out now…”
In the behind the scenes look at the shoot, Parton was first seen putting on a pair of pink embellished cat-eye sunglasses as Carpenter joined her on set. The “Espresso” singer then shared her excited reaction to the country legend’s outfit, telling her, “You look so cute!”
Carpenter was next seen greeting Parton as she stepped into a blue truck and sat next to her behind the driver’s seat. “Hi, how are you doing?” Parton asked as Carpenter replied, “How are you? You look amazing!”
The singers were then seen chatting and laughing together in the truck and as they sat beside each other on the back of the vehicle on set.
“We’re in a truck,” Parton said to the camera from the passenger’s seat. “We’re in a pickup truck,” Carpenter explained. “Big hair. It’s all just … the stars are aligning.”
In another shot, Carpenter stood outside of the truck while chatting to Parton about her outfit as she sat inside. “It’s the glasses. They just automatically make it like, you mean business,” she told Parton.

Later in the video, the “Jolene” singer confessed as she sat behind the wheel, “I never was a great driver. I never even like to drive.”
Other clips in the behind the scenes montage showed Parton and Carpenter filming more scenes in the pickup truck in front of a sunny landscape background and the pair hugging each other on set.

On Feb. 14, Carpenter dropped the music video for her and Parton’s country rendition of her 2024 song “Please Please Please,” released as part of the deluxe edition of her album Short n’ Sweet on Valentine’s Day.
The “Taste” singer wrote in a preview of the music video on Instagram, “Dolly and me singing in a pickup truck!!!!!! I am so honored to have one of my biggest idols on a song that means so much to me. ‘Short n’ Sweet’ deluxe is out now! Go watch and listen!!!! Love you forever @dollyparton 🤍🦋.”
The vintage-inspired music video appears to feature a not-so-subtle nod to Carpenter’s ex, actor Barry Keoghan, and shows Carpenter and Parton driving down a country road while being chased by the police as a handcuffed male lies in the back of the truck — a seeming follow to the track’s original music video featuring Keoghan, 32.
