Sandra Bullock is getting candid about her friendship with Jennifer Aniston.
56-year-old Jennifer was featured in Vanity Fair for their most recent cover story. In the article, 61-year-old Sandra opened up about their friendship and the way the two of them have been there for each other through tough times.

One of the biggest things that Sandra says she and Jennifer have been able to support each other through is the fact that they’ve each had issues with stalkers.
“It makes me think, ‘Do I really have to go outside and navigate the world?’” Sandra said in Jennifer‘s Vanity Fair cover story. “There’s the cases where they got into the house, the cases where they’re outside the house, the cases where you’re on a film set and they figured out where you are, and the cases that no one hears about.”
Sandra said that she only felt safe being in her house after the incident. Jennifer, who similarly had issues with a stalker, said that the two of them were able to lean on each other and find strength in getting over their fears and getting out of the house.
“There’s a motivation of going, ‘OK, we need to go somewhere. Where are we going?’” Jennifer said of connecting with Sandra over the scary experiences.
Sandra also revealed that the two of them share a fear of flying. She joked about comforting each other on planes and said, “The two of us on a plane—it’s the most pathetic thing to look at. Usually it’s us grabbing each other’s arms from across the table with our heads down.”
Jennifer said that being there for her friends comes naturally to her, even if she’s afraid. She said, “All of a sudden, my fear falls away and I get to take care of them. When there’s someone in need of being calmed, I have such empathy for it that all of a sudden my fear goes out the window.”
