Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jessi Ngatikaura is opening up about a recent plastic surgery work she had done and why she’s “extremely unhappy” with it.
The 33-year-old reality star posted a very candid video on TikTok this week discussing her looks, which she says have been getting “a lot of hate” and significant criticism as of late.
“And I want to say rightfully so, honestly,” she says in the video. “I’m extremely unhappy with my results.”

Jessi explained that she went to the surgeon to get a lower bleph, also known as lower blepharoplasty, used to get rid of puffiness and eye bags by removing or repositioning fat.
While at the doctor, she says she was convinced to get an upper bleph instead, a similar procedure but for your eyelids. She did not want to get any fat grafting, but opted to go with whatever her doctors thought best.
Jessi continued, sharing that it was put into her lips as well, which she did not want.
“I agree it looks awful, my face looks terrible, I totally agree,” she said.
She started to become emotional as she reflected on looking back at how she looked during season 4 of the Hulu show and realizing she was “blinded” by her “self-confidence” issues because she actually looked good.
“I’ll never touch my face again outside of Botox,” Jessi added.
Then she went on to give an inspiring message to her fans and followers, saying she understands that insecurities can lead people to consider surgery but advises everyone to really think “long and hard” about what they want, do research, and give it time before making a decision.
She went on to say she feels like the surgery “ruined” her life and even career because she doesn’t feel comfortable doing “anything” and is “dreading” the next season coming out.
“I look f–king hideous all of season 5,” she said.
However, the comments on Jessi’s post were almost all very kind, with many people saying she looks beautiful before and still looks beautiful now, and telling her not to be so hard on herself.
Chase McWhorter, who is the ex-husband of Miranda McWhorter, commented, “You’ve never looked hideous a day in your life. This is super vulnerable and I think you’re a badass.”
Miranda herself also commented: “jessss🥺 i’m so proud of you for consistently being so transparent and authentic regardless of how you felt about the results. you are beautiful then and now. i love you 💕💕”
