Teyana Taylor blasts Oscars 2026 security guard who allegedly 'shoved' her

“One Battle After Another” star Teyana Taylor clashed with a security guard backstage at the 2026 Oscars – with the actress claiming he put his hands on her.

“You put your hands on a female,” the actress, 35, said on Sunday before accusing the man of being very rude, per an X video showing the aftermath of the situation.

“He literally shoved me. He was damn near shoving her,” she notes, referring to another unidentified woman.

TMZ sources explained the incident happened moments after the award show broadcast ended.

Taylor was attempting to get back on stage at the Dolby Theater to snap a few photos with her co-stars after winning the best picture category. However, a security guard stopped her — and Pam Abdi, co-head of Warner Bros. — by using his body to block them.

He even allegedly put his hands on Taylor to hold her back.

The “All’s Fair” star has not commented on the ordeal on her social media, and her reps did not return TMZ’s requests for comment.

Taylor was nominated for best supporting actress for her role in “One Battle After Another,” but the award ultimately went to “Weapons” star Amy Madigan.

Despite Taylor jumping up to her feet to celebrate Madigan, some fans thought the singer deserved to prevail.

“Teyana Taylor was robbed, whatever,” one fan said after the result was announced.

“Teyana Taylor was robbed,” another viewer echoed. “She deserved an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her performance in One Battle After Another.”

However, she had plenty to celebrate when the movie won the best picture award, even going as far as playfully putting director Paul Thomas Anderson in a headlock.

“I love that girl,” a viewer gushed.

“Who let her in the club bro,” a second viewer said.

“One Battle After Another” received 13 nominations at this year’s Academy Awards.

Ryan Coogler’s “Sinners” made Oscar history as the most-nominated film of all time with 16 nods. The film won four Oscars.
