Few thriller films compare to the magic of Jurassic Park.
Since its premiere on July 11, 1993, the high-action movie has made us think about the ethics of harvesting dinosaurs for entertainment and the repercussions for messing with nature.
The Steven Spielberg-directed blockbuster’s groundbreaking technical achievements captivated audiences, specifically its revolutionary visual effects that allowed for realistic portrayals of the extinct creatures. Plus, its suspense-filled scenes kept viewers on the edges of their seats!
Now, as the film reaches its 32nd anniversary, it’s simultaneously experiencing its Venus and Mars return. Planetary returns reignite things and bring energy and vigor, a refresher that adds zest to our passions and artistry. (A Venus return occurs yearly, while a Mars return happens every two years.)
This Venus return in Gemini urges us to romanticize the film’s nostalgia and discuss it with friends. The Mars return in Virgo will make us overanalyze, hoping to find realistic solutions and understand the problems and quandaries in the film.
With Jurassic World Rebirth, the fourth Jurassic World film and the seventh installment in the Jurassic Park franchise, releasing on July 2, fans get to experience the film as if it were 1993 as a result of the planetary returns.
Transport yourself to the island of Isla Nublar as you read on to find out which Jurassic Park character aligns with your zodiac sign.
Aries: Velociraptor
Universal Pictures
The only sounds that compare to the “baa” of an Aries ram are those of the Velociraptor. Here’s why: Velociraptors are known to make different noises to communicate with others in their pack and strike while the iron’s hot, like the ram.
Both strive to reach the top of the food chain. Impulsivity pushes them to take on anything that comes their way. Conversely, they both excel at strategizing to take down their prey and enemies.
Taurus: Dr. John Hammond
Universal Pictures
As the CEO and founder of InGen, Dr. John Hammond’s perseverance got him Jurassic Park. But, his stubbornness is ultimately his demise — are you listening to this cautionary tale, Taurus?
Knowing when enough is enough is challenging for the Bull when they have a lot of money and authority. Both need to take the advice of others and not think of it as a sign of weakness. Greed and wealth aren’t worth the risk.
Gemini: Dennis Nedry

When stressed for money, we all can be shady. However, Dennis Nedry takes it too far by laughing off the warnings he gets from others, as only a dualistic and deceptive Gemini would.
Everyone has the cakacktu to cheat and steal, but Dennis’ desire to overshare information and yap about his issues is precisely how a Gemini would act if they were in the hot seat and wanted to brag about getting away with their plans.
Cancer: Dr. Ellie Sattler

Dr. Ellie Sattler is a paleobotanist invited to the park with her colleague and significant other, Dr. Alan Grant. Throughout the film, she makes innuendos that she wants to have children, showing her maternal Cancer side that rivals her partner’s desires.
Like the water sign, Dr. Ellie Sattler wishes to focus on her career and tend to a family, never compromising her current role as a paleobotanist. Her protective and caring qualities make her an honorary Cancer.
Leo: Dr. Ian Malcolm

Scene stealer Dr. Ian Malcolm takes center stage with his quips and one-liners. Leos have a sharp sense of humor and charm that Ian brings to the mix.
Plus, he’s a mathematician and chaos theorist who makes his own rules, like Leo does when given the opportunity. Ian understands the central themes of life and evolution, making him a truthful Leo. He isn’t afraid to roar and get feisty, much like lions do when angry.
Virgo: Donald Gennaro

Quick recap: Whether he’s aware, Donald Gennaro is the one who puts every aspect of the movie into action. IKYK that the Mercurial sign has a tendency to be a low-key instigator.
As the lawyer representing Hammond’s investors who have concerns about the security of the park, Hammond leans toward heedfulness. Like the perfectionist and methodical Virgo, he doesn’t want any missteps or issues. His practicality is part of the job, enriching him with Virgo attributes.
Libra: Tim Murphy

Tim Murphy is Lex’s well-read brother and Hammond’s grandson. At times, Tim gets excitable and scared, but his overall chill demeanor allows him to escape the erratic dinosaurs gone wild.
Tim mostly fanboys over Dr. Grant, which most Libras do because their sophisticated Venusian elements make them love the cachet of fame. Overall, Tim’s airy Libra sentiments are shown through his intelligence and ability to maintain a calm vibe 50% (give or take) of the time.
Scorpio: Tyrannosaurus Rex
Murray Close/Getty
Hear me out: Scorpio is the hunter who stalk their prey, like Tyrannosaurus. They like to pounce rather than have things given to them. The sign Scorpio isn’t known to be a weakling, nor is Tyrannosaurus.
Although Tyrannosaurus doesn’t sting others with venom like the scorpion, it has an intense roar and immense strength. The Tyrannosaurus is the baddest dinosaur at the park. It thrills Scorpios to have a connection to such a powerful creature.
Sagittarius: Robert Muldoon

Like Sagittarius, Robert Muldoon has an adventurous heart. He puts his life on the line to ensure the safety of the guests.
As the park’s main gamekeeper, Muldoon can comprehend the mind of the dinosaurs, similarly to how the worldly archer picks up the way other cultures communicate with each other. He gives up his wellness to help those in need without complaining, matching him with the fire sign.
Capricorn: Ray Arnold

As the chief engineer of the theme park, Ray Arnold exudes Capricorn energy. He is astute, responsible, and intelligent. Beyond that, Ray makes wise suggestions for the operations and offers insight to Hammond.
Unlike his coworker, Dennis, Ray is honest and wouldn’t do anything shady for a quick buck. His loyalty to Hammond is his sea-goat resolve. Plus, his undeniable commitment to the team and cause are attributes of the Earth sign he aligns with.
Aquarius: Dr. Grant
Amblin/Universal/Kobal/Shutterstock
Dr. Grant is a paleontologist with a scientific mind, which is in accordance with Aquarius. Evolution and research guide both to success. Aquarians can be austere at first until they warm up to others.
Alan isn’t super chill around Lex and Tim upon their first meeting, but after enduring an extreme adventure at the park, they bond. His gruff exterior embodies a kinder spirit, like Aquarians do when they get close to those they adore.
Pisces: Lex Murphy
Murray Close/Moviepix/Getty
Lex Murphy is John Hammond’s granddaughter, visiting the park with her brother, Tim. Much like the water sign, Lex’s emotions are high, and she utilizes her intuition to survive (hence the scene when the Jell-O shakes on her spoon and a dinosaur is coming).
As Tim’s primary nurturer, she offers TLC when her brother is struggling, similarly to Pisces. Also, Lex’s instincts are lit when she uses the computer to reboot the security system, saving the day.
