Off Campus’s Ella Bright has a new beauty gig!
On Thursday, July 16, the actress, 19, was named Rare Beauty’s first-ever brand ambassador and fronts the new “Made You Blush” campaign highlighting the brand’s best-selling Soft Pinch Liquid Blush.
“Since launching, Soft Pinch Liquid Blush has become one of Rare Beauty’s most beloved bestsellers, prized for its bold and buildable pigment, and was a major catalyst in igniting the ‘blush boom’ across the industry,” reads a press release. “Pairing that product story with Ella’s own fandom and her breakout year on Off Campus gives the campaign a sense of real cultural momentum, not just a product push.”
In a statement included in the release, Bright shares, “I’m so excited to announce my partnership with Rare Beauty as the new face of the new ‘Made You Blush’ campaign! I’ve been a massive fan of the brand for years, and their Soft Pinch Liquid Blush has always been a favorite in my makeup routine.”
She continues, “Furthermore, I really admire Rare Beauty’s dedication to mental health initiatives, which is why this project means so much to me.”

In an accompanying campaign video, Bright stands by as a slew of men attempt to impress her.
“People are always trying to make me blush,” she says in the clip. “Funny thing is, no one ever can.”
From a crooning musician to a handyman, none of the candidates come close to winning her over. “Turns out, there’s only one thing that makes me blush: Soft Pinch Liquid Blush by Rare Beauty,” she concludes.

Bright rose to fame as Hannah Wells on Amazon Prime Video’s new hit show Off Campus, which is based on the best-selling books by Elle Kennedy. The series follows an elite college ice hockey team at the fictional Briar University as they navigate relationships, friendships and young adulthood.

The British-American actress plays Hannah, a music student who devises a fake dating scheme with hockey star Garrett (Belmont Cameli) to catch the attention of her crush, Justin (Josh Heuston). Things get complicated when Hannah and Garrett develop feelings for one another.
Bright previously opened up to PEOPLE about her relationship with Cameli while at Creation Entertainment’s Page, Screen and Everything in Between convention in Whippany, N.J., in May.
“I remember the first time I met Belmont, we did the first kiss scene between Hannah and Garrett, obviously without the kissing,” Bright said. “But it was really funny, because we would get really, really close and they would go, ‘And cut!’ It was really, really fun.”
Off-camera, Bright said that her TV love interest is “the best” and that they became “very fast friends.”
“We have so much fun together. He’s the greatest,” Bright added. “[We] met at the chemistry reads, we got each other’s numbers, and we’ve just been friends ever since. I mean, when you spend that much time with someone on set — we’d have like 15-, 16-hour days — you have to be just the best of friends.”
