Noah Kahan's siblings supported him long before he was selling out stadiums.
The "Stick Season" singer was born to parents Lauri Berkenkamp and Josh Kahan in 1997. They raised him in Vermont, where he grew up alongside two brothers, Richard and Simon, and a sister named Sasha.
Richard, Simon and Sasha all appear in the musician's Netflix documentary, Noah Kahan: Out of Body, which was released on the streaming platform on April 13.
Noah spoke about having a "really close family" in the documentary, which also included him and his siblings reflecting on how their lives have changed since the singer skyrocketed to fame.
"I don't see him a lot. But it does make it really special when we do get to hang out, especially when he's not on tour and we can just kinda go back to older brother, younger brother, not Noah Kahan the superstar," Richard said in the documentary.

Lauri shared in Noah Kahan: Out of Body that her children are "exactly six years apart from the first to the last."
"It was like having a litter of puppies. They all went everywhere together," she added.
"I was like right in the middle of Sasha, Richard and Simon," Noah said in the documentary, noting that he had a lot of feelings of being a "middle child."
Reflecting on their childhood, Noah called it "loud," detailing a lot of laughing, fighting and yelling.
Despite their "chaotic" upbringing, Noah said they are "all really close."

While Noah has built a career in music, his siblings have each pursued their own paths.
As their dad shared in Noah Kahan: Out of Body, Richard works as a professional firefighter in Hanover, N.H. Sasha is a pediatric surgeon based in Park City, Utah, and Simon works at a global consulting company but is based in New York.

Noah’s songwriting draws from many aspects of his life, including his family experiences and childhood.
In Noah Kahan: Out of Body, Lauri shared that when Noah first sent her demos from his Stick Season album, she would immediately recognize references to certain periods of their life.
She also noted that some of the "Easter eggs" hidden in the songs directly reference some of Noah's siblings.
"I mean, the 'attention-deficit kids in their gym clothes,' that's Richard," she said of Noah's lyrics to his hit song "New Perspective."
Lauri shared that Noah said "Come Over" was written about Simon.
"There's a lot about Josh and me and stuff that's happened in our lives," she continued.

When Noah performed at Fenway Park in July 2024, his family was not only there to support him, but also joined him onstage during his performance of "Stick Season."
That October, the singer celebrated the end of his Stick Season era with a heartfelt Instagram post, which included a special shout-out to his loved ones, including his siblings.
"I was cheered on through it all by my fiancé, by my parents and siblings, my incredible band, my management and the extraordinary crew of folks who all gave 2.5 years of their life to this magical sequence of dreams, this spiral of hotel rooms and dark basements and cramped event center hallways," Noah wrote. "I owe a great debt to all to them, I hope they can all feel my gratitude."
