Britain’s Got Talent singer Matty Juniosa won his second Golden Buzzer during Saturday’s semi-final – but fans claimed the surprise was ruined.

Matty previously brought the house down with his amazing rendition of Prince’s hit track Purple Rain with the audience rising for a standing ovation, which had earned him Simon Cowell’s buzzer.

And after yet another incredible performance, Amanda Holden announced: ‘I said to the producers what happens if I don’t give out my Golden Buzzer? and they said, “Well it goes to the audience.”

‘I wasn’t going to let it go the audience,’ she said before hitting down on the button.

Simon added: ‘Your range is incredible and you are the sweetest person. Two Golden Buzzers that isn’t bad is it. I’m so happy for you.’

But fans of the show saw the move coming, as Matty was the evening’s final act.

Sharing their thoughts on X, they wrote: ‘So I assume Amanda is going to golden buzzer the next act if it’s the last one? Hope it’s not s*** or that’s a waste of a final spot’;

‘Considering that the golden buzzer has been left untouched until now, I think we all saw this coming’;

‘What a coincidence they save the best till last and now Amanda has to give him the Golden Buzzer again when she could of used it for someone who never got one’;

‘Do the judges press their Golden Buzzer at the end now? Otherwise Amanda has to be put the singer through and he’s the last act of the night’;

‘Amanda clearly knows who she wants to use it on and has ignored using it for 2 acts that 100% deserved it.’

Previously, the energetic musician showed off his amazing vocals as he belted out the 1984 track, leaving the judges speechless.

‘I thought that was a fantastic performance and I can see how much you want it,’ Amanda Holden said.

Simon added: ‘You are the kind of artist where you you put eight spoonfuls of sugar in your tea, you put about ten thousand in.’

He continued: ‘This is the biggest reaction I think we have had from anyone,’ before he added: ‘So… why the hell not!’ and hit the buzzer.

Matty fell to his knees as confetti fell around him before he burst out in tears at the incredible response to his performance.

During Saturday’s live semi-final Ant and Dec took a jibe at the explosive I’m A Celeb ‘drama’ as they made their return to TV and warned the judges to behave.

The Geordie duo, both 50, failed to keep a lid on proceedings during Friday’s final as ex-footballer Jimmy Bullard accused eventual winner Adam Thomas of being ‘abusive, aggressive and intimidating’ during an expletive row in the pre-recorded show last year.

And after the live finale, Ant suffered an awkward run-in with Jimmy as he headed home alongside his wife, Anne-Marie Corbett.

But Ant and Dec laughed off the chaotic scenes, with Ant saying: ‘I love live telly me,’ as Dec replied: ‘There’s nothing better is there?’

Speaking to the judges, Ant joked: ‘We had quite enough drama on the telly last night so can you please, you four, be on your best behaviour?’

Referencing Sinitta and Gemma Collins storming out of the explosive final, Dec added: ‘If you misbehave, you’ll be out quicker than Sinitta.’

Later Amanda joked: ‘After watching your extraordinary performance last night, I took notes. I have learnt from the best!’
