Burger King is celebrating America's 250th anniversary.

The fast food chain is giving out $2.50 Whopper Jr.'s to its loyalty members on July 4. Royal Perks members can purchase a $2.50 burger on the Burger King app or website on the holiday, per a press release shared with PEOPLE.

“As summer kicks off and America gears up to celebrate the nation's milestone 250th birthday, Burger King is marking the occasion with a deal that's as iconic as the holiday itself,” the chain wrote in the release.

Burger King will also offer a limited-edition Firecracker Cookie Pie around Independence Day.

The pie is seasonal and “bursting with festive flavor,” Burger King said.

According to a June 2 press release, the chilled pie “layers velvety cream over a crisp sugar cookie crust.” The festive treat is topped with red, white and blue star-shaped sprinkles to honor America's 250th anniversary.

The chain isn't the only company celebrating the country's birthday — Betty Crocker is giving away one million free cakes to customers who buy a cake mix from the brand starting June 18.

Customers can submit a picture of their receipt and upload it to Betty Crocker's website for the chance to get up to $3.99 in reimbursement.

Burger King recently brought back a fan favorite that had been off the menu for 15 years.

For the first time since 2011, the chain announced on May 26 that it was bringing back Crown Nuggets.

The nuggets launched nationwide starting June 2 after years of fan demand, per the chain.

They come in a $3.99 King Jr. kid's meal, along with a side and a drink, or in an eight-piece order for adults.

An Instagram post teasing the return of the nuggets prompted excitement among nostalgic fans.

“I'm not joking I literally tell everyone every single year that I HOPE you bring back the crown nuggets 😭😭😭🥹🥹👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Ya'll I MANIFESTED this !!!!!!!!” one person wrote.

“I'm so old I've witnessed the return of the BK crown nuggets. 🥹😅,” another joked.

Alongside the release of the Crown Nuggets, the fast food chain launched a Crayola-themed kid's meal on June 9, which included a four-pack of crayons and a colorable crown and meal bag.

Burger King also recently announced other items launching on a holiday — though this one was unofficial.

The chain released a Star Wars-themed menu on May the Fourth to celebrate The Mandalorian and Grogu, which opened in theaters on May 22.

The Mandalorian-inspired menu included a BBQ Bounty Whopper, which featured a 1/4 lb. of beef and melted Swiss cheese, pickle chips, bacon, lettuce, tomato and Bounty BBQ sauce, all in a helmet-shaped carton.

The menu also included Grogu's Garlic Chicken Fries, which were dusted with parmesan and garlic seasoning and served with a garlic dipping sauce, as well as Imperial Cheddar Ranch Tots.

Star Wars fans could finish off their meals with Grogu's Blue Cookie Shake, which included soft serve blended with “blue sugar cookie syrup and topped with Grogu's favorite snack – blue cookies.”

The menu also featured four collectible cups along with a purchase of one of the menu's combo items. The kid's menu included a Mandalorian-themed toy.
