The Dancing with the Stars pro, 41, shared a video on his Instagram on Wednesday, May 20, which captured the sweet moment his daughter Everley watched her mom Hayley Erbert Hough dance for the first time.
In the clip, someone could be seen holding Everley, who wore a yellow sweater. She watched her mom, who was wearing a fuzzy white coat, dance around a studio.

Derek and Hayley welcomed baby Everley in December, and in a January Instagram post, wrote, “Every step of our lives has led us to you," alongside a sweet, black-and-white image of their newborn's tiny feet. "Our hearts have been cracked wide open, and our world is forever changed,” the post continued.
Speaking with PEOPLE earlier this month, Derek opened up about his Father's Day plans with his family of three. This year marks the first year he will be celebrating the holiday after welcoming baby Everley.

"I'll be happy with some socks and some ties with some new underwear," he joked. "I don't know. Is that what Father's Day presents you get?"
"I have no idea, but I'm loving being a dad, so it's the best," he added.
In April, Derek raved about his first few months of parenthood and called dad life "the best."
"Being a dad is the—you know, being in the industry, you wanna do great in your career and be at the top of the game and do this, achieve this, but being a dad now, that’s the pinnacle," said the professional dancer.
"That’s the top. Everything else is just a bonus, you know what I mean? That is the echelon right there," he added.
