Michelle Branch is giving fans all they ever wanted.
On Wednesday, July 15, the pop singer-songwriter announced the release of her new EP Everywhere and Back Again, which will feature reimagined recordings of some of her most beloved songs throughout the past 25 years, including “Everywhere,” “All You Wanted”, “Goodbye To You,” “Breathe” and more.
The tracks will all feature collaborations with artists from different genres and “reframes songs Branch first wrote and released as a teenager through the voices and perspectives of artists who grew up alongside her music,” per a press release.

“Getting to hear these songs, many I wrote as a teenager, performed by friends and peers that I so greatly admire has been such a ‘pinch me’ moment as a songwriter,” Branch, 43, said in a press release statement. “Suddenly these adolescent songs about love lost and found take on an entirely new meaning and weight when sung by artists of all different genres and in a different era.”
She added: “Being able to celebrate a 25-year career while firmly believing my best work is still ahead of me is the dream of any artist. And having fans that have grown up beside me who are still listening and still care after all these years is the greatest gift.”
Alongside the announcement, Branch released the first song from the project, “The Game of Love,” which was originally a hit collaboration with Santana. For this version, she recruited New Radicals’ Gregg Alexander, who originally co-wrote the track with Rick Nowels.
“‘The Game of Love’ has been such a special song in my life made possible by one of my personal musical heroes, Gregg Alexander from New Radicals,” she said in a press release statement. “Many people don’t realize that Gregg wrote ‘The Game of Love’ and being able to sing this together with him is really a full-circle moment and captures the original spirit of the demo.”
The song, which was released in 2002, won a Grammy for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals and reached No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 1 on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary charts.

Branch also announced a fall tour in support of the EP and the 25th anniversary of her major label debut album The Spirit Room, which will kick off on Sept. 27 in Seattle.

Branch celebrated the forthcoming launch of the Everywhere and Back Again EP with a one-night-only event on Tuesday, July 14 at The Sun Rose in West Hollywood called MBTV Presents: Everywhere and Back Again – Live in Front of a Studio Audience, where the venue was flanked by Y2K-era decor.
