In a TikTok video shared to the account for her podcast Broad Ideas on Monday, May 11, Rachel Bilson shared what she keeps in her everyday handbag — and it's as chaotic as it is relatable.
The clip begins with Bilson, 44, dumping the contents of her black Clare V purse onto a coffee table. "It's kind of amazing how much can fit in a tiny bag," she remarks as the pile nearly spills off of the surface.
The O.C. alum rattles off items, including a stray $5 bill, Dr. Pepper-flavored Tic-Tacs, an old UPS slip, a pack of gum and multiple pens. She also points out something she "splurged on" — a small bottle of hand sanitizer from Aesop.
As for her beauty essentials, Bilson carries a full-size tube of Ilia Limitless Lash Mascara, as well as Rel Beauty's No Duh Lip Balm, commenting that "the colors they come in are awesome" as she takes a moment to reapply.

The actress also keeps "so many random individual packets of Advil" handy, as well as a small bottle of the pain reliever. She also has a "squishy duck" that she says comes in handy for the times you just need to "squish things."
Perhaps the item taking up the most space is Bilson's collection of raw sugar packets.
"I only like raw sugar in my coffee, and if there isn't raw sugar, I always make sure I have some in my purse. Why do I have 20?" she says with a laugh.
From behind the camera, Bilson's podcast co-host Olivia Allen asks her what she would choose if she could only pack three essentials.
"Lip, wallet, hand sanitizer," the actress replies, adding, "I'm that crazy."
