As a city dweller, I know how to utilize every inch of a small space. Moreover, I enjoy the challenge, but finding sleek, functional storage for my 80-square-foot bedroom was one of my trickiest projects to date.
I struck gold when I came across Furnulem’s Five-Drawer Vertical Dresser, a multifunctional storage piece that seamlessly fits into my bedroom. Not only has the piece become a necessity for me, but the modern, all-white design is a welcome addition that adds an elevated touch to my space. When I saw it marked down to $53, exclusively for Amazon Prime members, I knew I had to share my save-spacing hack.

The dresser has five fabric storage drawers, each with a modern wood-effect front and handle. Given the compact design, I was pleasantly surprised that the drawers were much more spacious than anticipated. The top has a double-layer shelf made from water-resistant wood. While adding flowers or a few books would look incredibly chic, I’m more concerned with practicality, so I’ve made it into my personal beauty counter — can you tell I’m a shopping writer?
Each drawer is filled with different things for me, from lightweight clothing like undergarments and pajamas to skincare and makeup product overflow. I’m careful not to overstuff them, especially since they’re fabric, but they give me all the room I need.
I opted for the vertical five-drawer dresser, but it also comes in three- and four-drawer options, depending on how much storage you need. If white isn’t your preference, other options include black oak, rustic brown, and vintage floral.
While I wouldn’t consider myself extremely handy, this storage tower was quick and easy to assemble. Building it straight out of the box took me approximately 20 minutes, much quicker than I anticipated.
All in all, the sturdiness and functionality of this piece exceeded my expectations, and other Amazon shoppers seem to agree with me. One reviewer raved that it’s “excellent in every way,” writing that it adds a “touch of elegance” to their living space and “feels solid and well-made.” Meanwhile, a different person highlighted how it’s “perfect for a tight space,” sharing that it’s “well worth the money.”
From under-the-bed storage containers to space-saving clothing hangers, I’ve found plenty of ways to maximize storage in my tiny New York City apartment. Don’t miss out on shopping the Furnulem Five-Drawer Vertical Dresser while it’s on sale for Prime members, and read on for more of my favorite finds at Amazon.
