Ayzia J. Toledo — the influencer known online as Ayzia J — died in a car accident on July 5. She was 22.
Toledo was driving a BMW on a freeway in New Jersey when she “lost directional control” of the car, which flipped and “struck a tree,” a spokesperson for the New Jersey State Police told PEOPLE in a statement.
Both Toledo and Henrietta Carter, 22, who was sitting in the passenger seat, “sustained fatal injuries” as a result of the crash, per the spokesperson. A third passenger “sustained minor injuries” and was transported to a local hospital, the spokesperson added.
State troopers responded to the scene at 10:55 p.m., and the crash is under investigation, police said.

She seemingly last updated her social media accounts on July 2, posting a promotional video for the clothing brand Shein.
